Bear Down Camp

Bear Down Camp is a program within the Associated Students of the University of Arizona (ASUA), the Student Government here on campus. It’s a three day camp where freshman get the opportunity to learn about the heritage, traditions, and history of the UofA. Incoming freshman are taught all about things to do on campus, off campus, how to get involved and how to successfully survive your first year at this great university! There are workshops that teach students about all the different clubs and organizations you can get involved in, where to go/who to talk to if you have any problems academically, financially, and a variety of others.

It is also a great place to meet over 100 students before you ever start classes! It is crucial for every student to start their college career off right, and you can do that with Bear Down Camp! Take a look inside to see who the counselors are, what the schedule for camp is like, and check out ASUA’s website to see what YOUR Student Government is all about.
